Staff and students enrolled in University of Auckland (UoA) courses based at the Manukau Institute of Technology (MIT) who have a valid University of Auckland ID card can request books and articles held in any University of Auckland libraries, by using the Inter-Campus Library Delivery Service.
You need to have your UoA Username and Password to request UoA Library items.
Click here if you do not have your UoA Username and Password.
If you are not able to reset your password yourself, you can get it reset from one of the IC Helpdesks at City, Epsom, Grafton and Tamaki campuses, and at the Student Information Centre. You must present your UoA student ID card.
Books - Find the book you require from the UoA Libraries and Learning Services homepage, and then use the Manukau Campus Programmes Request a book form to request an item to be delivered to MIT Library.
There is no charge for the delivery service but normal fines and fees apply for items that are overdues or missing.
Book chapters/articles (Note: you must be logged in to see the Request options) - To request a copy of a book chapter/journal article click on the Get Part link. Tick the box and enter details (page numbers, title of the chapter/article, and so on) in the Comment field.
Your copy will be sent to your email address.
You can return UoA Library items at MIT Main Library or any of the University of Auckland Library branches.
Note: If you are returning any of the UoA items to MIT Main Library, you need to return them two to three days before the due date printed on the slip.
Click here to check the locations of the UoA Library branches.
Overdue requested item will be charged $3 per day.
Once an item is overdue more than 30 days, UoA Library will assume it is lost and you will incur the following charges per item.
