Level 3 lockdown: what you need to know

MIT Manukau And Otara Campus Libraries now with limited opening hours for Returns and Click & Collect

Manukau and Otara campuses are open Mondays and Wednesdays, between 11am and 1pm



Returns can be made at: 
  • Otara Campus, NP block Level 2, Return Slot, via external stairs
  • Manukau Campus, Ground floor, Returns Bin, inside west side door, carpark entrance
  • Maritime Campus, Students with library items on loan will be contacted separately

Click & Collect

Click & Collect now available on Mondays and Wednesdays, 11am – 1pm at Manukau and Otara campuses. Request your books through Search Rapua.

Click and Collect pick ups available from:  
  • Otara Campus, NP block Level 2, via external stairs
  • Manukau Campus, Ground floor, West side, carpark entrance


  • Please let security staff know on arrival that you are either returning library books or collecting a requested library book
  • Mask wearing and scanning in is mandatory
  • Hand sanitiser will be available for use
  • Please maintain 2 metre distancing from others

Library and Learning Services are also here for you online.

Here on our website (or via our link in your Canvas course page), you can:

  • Find information for your assignments using Search Rapua or your Subject Guide
  • Learn about study skills, writing and presentations by checking out our Study Toolbox
  • Chat with a librarian using the Chat Now service (8am – 5pm Monday – Friday and 9am – 4.30pm Saturday)
  • Book an appointment with a subject librarian or an academic learning advisor.

If you have books, please keep them until our campuses are open again. You will not be charged any fines during a lockdown.

Requesting books is on pause for now but if you have any questions you can ask them via our Chat Now service.
