Interlibrary loan

Can’t find what you’re looking for?

Borrow or request books and articles from other libraries in New Zealand using the interloan service.

Please include as much information as possible about the item you are requesting. 

All currently enrolled Manukau Institute of Technology students can use the interloan service for courses or research purposes

  • You can make up to four requests for each assignment.
  • Have you checked our library collection? We only interloan items that are not part of our library collections.
    Use the Search Rapua box to check if your book or article is already held within the MIT library collections.
  • Make your interloan request as early as possible to give it time to arrive from another library. This can take 5-10 working days or longer.
     
  • Contact your Subject Librarian to help search for information for your assignment.

All Manukau Institute of Technology staff can use the interloan service for courses or research purposes. 

  • Please note that the library is not funded to provide loans for staff studying at other institutions.
