Did you know that you can return library books even when the library isn’t open at Manukau and Ōtara campuses?

We have an after-hours returns bin at both locations and you can return any MIT books to either location.

Manukau Campus Library:
The after-hours returns bin is located in the lift lobby, beside the main entrance to the library on level 2. You can access the MIT Manukau building Monday – Friday from 7am – 10pm and on the weekend from 8am – 8pm to return books.

Ōtara Campus Library:
The after-hours returns slot is located via the external stairs (level 2, NP Block) on the exterior wall of the library opposite the airbridge. You can access the Ōtara Campus using Gate 12 on Monday – Friday from 7am – 10pm and on the weekend from 9am – 5pm to return books.

If you have trouble accessing any of our campuses, please call MIT Security on 09 968 8700 and they will be happy to help.

Please contact us if you have any questions about your books: Email: library-circulation@manukau.ac.nz Phone: 09 968 8777 Or chat with us live on this website weekdays 8am-5pm.
