Open Access

Why use open access?

Open access resources add to what the library provides for you.  The links on this page will help you find quality sources that you can trust and are free to use.

What is open access?

Open access resources are online resources for research that are free of most copyright and licensing restrictions. There is no charge to use these resources.

For more information on types of open access and how it applies to academic publishing, look at the following guide by Creative Commons Aotearoa New Zealand (now called Tohatoha.)
